summer came like cinnamon, so sweet
Relieve at last!!!
I can continue listening to english songs and speak normally in ENGLISH! At least now my worries would be transferred to the results but that can wait. Right? Wrong, i guess.
So anyway, watched Ayat-ayat Cinta last night. I couldn't quite grasp what it was about at first 'cos the (pirated)DVD's sound system was 'irritatingly and annoyingly' muffled but as the show played on, my understanding of it became much clearer and at the same time i felt even more jengkel(irritated and annoyed) towards the Fahri guy,Maria and Aisha. Don't ask me why. I just do mainly because i'm not quite the fan of romance and the show had too many fictional scenes. But oh well. At least i liked the ending AND the main, male character('Fahri', actually). Heh.
So yeah. Enough about this Indonesian love story. Let's get back on track.
Yesterday's Malay paper was hair-pulling! I think i expressed the sentence-making wrongly and that my kefahaman aka comprehension is a total failure. So was my composition/essay-writing/story-telling 'cos i think i misinterpreted the question. AHHHH! If all else fails and i flunk this paper, i am SO gonna retake it. No questions asked.
But i do have to say that the paper was manageable except for those i've mentioned earlier. Alhamdulillah dengan segala pertolongan Tuhan.
I'm looking out the window of my parents' bedroom and there's this lake(which is actually a reservoir)staring back at me and i seriously feel like going for a mid-afternoon jog, start climbing the huge trees outlining the 'lake' and re-connecting with my long-forgotten friends, the ants. Unfortunately, i still haven't bathe(oh, yes. i bathe before jogging or doing any outdoor activities)and my bum seems to disagree with whatever decisions my heart and mind just decided upon so.. i guess i will just have to contain myself with the computer.
Shit! I really miss reading and i NEED to READ!
And this is just some random image i got off the net. Is red suppose to be at the topmost part of a rainbow or is it the other way round? I need answers, people 'cos i'm a CURIOUS kid. :D

Eat, sleep, drink and think, Malay.
So... the results for MYE's out and if you look closely enough, you can tell that my face is not of the usual chirpiness and tone. MAINLY because i didn't fair so great this time round especially for Malay. My own mother tongue. Hah. How funnily weird is that? And to think i used to be really good at that particular subject. Urgh. And the O'level MT paper is just TOMORROW! Yikes lah. Bulu roma saya meremang setiap kali saya fikirkan tentang peperiksaan yang akan datang Isnin ini. :0
I feel like sawing off my skull, take out what little brain i have and inflate it or something so that i can insert more knowledge inside it. Hah. Yeah. Like as if THAT would work.
But who cares. What's done is done. Like the old saying goes, 'There's no use crying over spilt milk'(chey3!). So that's exactly what i'm going to do. Not cry that is.
But wait. Maybe i will. (Cry that is.) My math teacher whom i adore so dearly 'cos she makes math seem so easy and understandable is going to leave my classmates and i PERMANENTLY. Urgh.
Anyway, i think i really should continue reading that malay book and do some sentence-making and imbuhan(i have no idea what it means in english)'cos amazingly, they are my weaknesses.
Can't wait to get that $20!

Lies the song about you.
Okayyy.. The first half of the day was really embarrassing(and bone-breaking, thanks to Zaki's freakishly heavy bag)'cos i had to send my brother's swimming bag and buy him a Fillet burger from MacD.
And to think i wanted to relax the whole day today before i gear up for the Prelims AND the O's starting from next week. Urgh.
Anyway, the embarrassing part was the fact that i was half-drenched from the rain and the surfer shorts i wore(bad idea)was showing off my wet and dying leg hairs. Even more so, some freakish-looking brown leaves and dirt got stuck on my toes thanks to the tiny puddles i had to walk upon. So disgusting. And then there were the short maids littering the front gate of my brother's school. Urgh. Even MORE disgusting. Those staredowns.. I swear they were jealous of my leg hair 'cos of how it protects me from the cold and all, considering the fact that i was in shorts and stuff.. Haha. ._.
So yeah.
Safely back home without anymore humiliation except for the fact that i was welcomed into an empty home(my maid was out for an x-ray or something)and it was VERY creepy. Locked myself up in my parents' room. I'm telling you.. My home is 'yikes!', if you know what i mean.. Especially my living room. But hey, isn't it common for every home in Singapore? I bet the most safest place you thought is even haunted. Or at the very least, creepy. :D
But i'm okay now(just to let those of you who were concerned about me know. heh). The maid's back and i'm eating a plate full of spaghetti and a jug of Chendol.
Ohoh.
I wonder what tomorrow brings. I bet its the MYE results. (!!!)

And i finally feel sooo free.
MYE's ENDED! No more late nights of endless revising and studying. It feels great and yes, I know that this newfound freedom is just temporary, but who cares, right? Better use this opportunity while it lasts.
Saving up some cash to get my own Polaroid. How old-fashioned can i be right? But something about that insta-photo camera gets to me. Can't wait! If my memory serves me right, it should cost about $100-$200. Fsh. And i only saved 50. Hah. But hey, with perseverence comes the fruit of labour. Riiiight. Whatever lah eh.
Anyway, I'm munching on a hearty meal of MacD's Big Breakfast which is a gift from me to me after the hard work done to prepare for MYE. Now i can place the moments of my affair with SS and Science in the back of my bulging head. They were too intimate for my liking anyway. :D

So yeah. Let's review and comment about all the papers i sat for this past two weeks.
Malay was frustrating. English had a little hope. Math paper 1 was mind-boggling and so was his brother/sister/mother(paper 2). Science was ARRRRH!!! Lit was aha! SS was wth?! Geog was 'that went well'. Not. POA was enough to make me say goodbye.. wish me luck before i die of failure and embarrassment. Hah.
So that's it. The tales of the sad little girl and her tragic papers. Is it me or does this all seem like something out of a fairytale.
Anyway, after yesterday's Lit paper 2, we went to IMM in the hopes of finding Syafiqah's mum a birthday present but it ended up with some of us parting ways. Felt quite irritated i must say. But who cares? I don't. So yeah. We ate at BK (as in Burger King) and i saw the least expected group of people. Hah. Freaked me out to my bones. And then, Syai, Farah and i went to Fnad's house to play with DDN or something.. Wait a minute. Why am i telling you all of this not-so-amazing story of my life that happened yesterday? I thought this was a blog about amazing things? NOT not-so-amazing things? :D Haha. I'm bored. Trying to waste time 'cos i'm waiting for The Chronicles of Spiderwick to end its buffering stage. Very irritating, i tell you. I'm not exactly a patient person and this kind of things are SUCH a waste of time. So what am i doing right now, you might ask? Well, i'm trying to celebrate the end of MYE which is exactly why i'm tolerating this time-wasting. Duh.
p.s. Is it me or does my post seem a little bit awkward and different today?

Robitussin -cough syrup
Like the exams aren't already stressing me out. Now i have to live with a terrible flu and cough. Sheesh. And to make things sound even worser than it already is, half of my family members are sick too. Amazing huh, how germs and bacterias can fly and float around the house that easily? Which is why i must warn and remind each and everyone of you who are not sick(yet)to disinfect and keep your house clean and smelling nice.(Not that i'm saying my house isn't)But its always good to.. Remind. :D
Oh, anyway! GREAT news, malay MYE is finally over and the peribahasa(s) that have been swimming in my head are starting to float away. Now all i have to do is focus on Geography, SocialStudies, Math, English(?), Literature, Science, POA..yadayadayada -did i miss anything out? Nah. That's about it, i guess. And with all of this studying and revision to be done, i think i have to say an advanced "sorry!" to all nature-lovers out there for ruining their hope of having Earth Day everyday since i might(will, actually)be wasting an estimated 4 drawing blocks, 120 pieces of A4 plain paper, 2 notebooks and more than 10 gallons of ink so that i can gather facts, formulas, words and notes from books, into my big pea-sized brain. Haha.
